Subject: Request to Add Turkish Cities to CityHeatmaps

Dear Meteoblue Team,

As Windy premium users, we notice that CityHeatmaps currently lacks coverage for Turkish cities. We kindly request adding major cities such as Antalya, Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, and Bursa, each with a population over 2 million.

What weather models do you use ? Only the default model (ECMWF) or you compare the 7 ones available in your area ?
A “Compare” board is displayed below point forecast table.

@Gkikas-LGPZ It's not the zoomed-in map that is the problem. It is the zoomed out map where you can click on city names, etc. to get a quick forecast. Durango does not appear until you zoom WAY in, in spite of the fact that all the surrounding cities, many of them extremely tiny compared to Durango, do appear.

@cloudy_ Hi, you are right that Crowdin is missing many texts from our app and I already pushed this to colleagues. It looks like a bit a long-term project, but I hope it will start soon

Hi @Kristin-Rasmussen, thank You for the link to data. It seems like there is old data for now (last image is from 2024-08-04T21:23:00Z) but I will look into it anyway

In some areas with bays, river mouths, estuaries or straits, the tidal current maps and tide graph are WRONG because the data resolution cannot take into account the shape of the coastline and seabed.
In connection with your post on the Gulf of Morbihan, between Le Crouesty and Vannes, there is about a 2 hour time difference for high tide, but in Windy, we see no difference.
Same problem with tidal currents.
I have already asked for this warning to be at least displayed in the "About this data" tab, but without result for the moment.

If you choose the category of “Clouds, Aviation” layers, you will find the CAPE index layer.
