Thank you, @Suty. If the two variants are not separated, there must at least be consistency in one or the other. As it is now, the Portuguese version of Windy is very inconsistent and not useful for the users of both variants of the idiom. Is like having 80% of the website translated in Australian English and 20% in UK English, but with a much bigger gap between them. It's not normal for apps having different translations for English variants, for example, but it's very common to have both variants of Portuguese (at least these two), given their differences.

Hey Igor, Totally agree, it’s awesome to see Ukrainian names represented properly! Thanks for pointing out the Odesa spelling—definitely makes sense to use the Ukrainian version with one "s" instead of the Russian-influenced one. That Wikipedia link was super helpful, too. Hope the Windy team catches this and makes the update!

Old thread but figured I would answer it because it shows up on google search. On windy.com's sounding, The dashed green lines going from upper right to lower left are the dry adiabatic lapse rate. This is different from the bright single dashed green thermal line that curves.

Trust me, 'America' is only claimed by the people of the US to be the name of a country. Sensible people know that Canada hasn't become part of the USA just because Trump says it ought to be.
