    For the last few months I’ve noticed that there is again an issue with the weather data from the radar near Riga, Latvia. The data seems to be amplified compared to the rest of the region. See the attached screenshot. [image: 1757920611235-2a742161-592a-4a45-970d-22342be8544c-image.png]

    I am building a weather section in my project, and I have a feature to toggle between °C and °F. However, the embedded map’s legend does not update when the temperature unit is changed

    Different Android versions, Windy vesions in linked thread. Weather Station Widget displays wind arrows in opposite direction (pointing the angle from where wind is blowing, not the direction): IPhone equivalent Widget is displaying as expected. https://community.windy.com/post/223286

    @Nacer-Hi ah i didn't realise they changed it Windy has never changed the wind direction display. In meteorology, wind direction is not displayed like the direction of wind vanes.

It turns out that in this region there is no alternative service provider that would broadcast the weather, rather than guess it. Weather radars are not used to predict the weather, but to observe rain. Weather forecasting is based on weather models like the ones Windy uses (ECMWF, GFS, ICON, ACCESS). So without radar, Windy doesn’t “guess” the weather. Windy shows the forecast provided by major weather centers through their weather models. However these models don’t display exactly where it is currently raining. But they provide a forecast for the current and the next days.     @richlafferty Same thing happened to me. My wind speeds have been in the hundreds of thousands or millions of miles per hour for the past several months. The only settings I changed were Color Rendering Intent (1) and Color Management Mode (1).

    @Eldrain To be on the same page, we have never offered any lifetime purchase in Windy.com. We offer annual subscription for a year with active auto-renewal and then purchase for a year without any commitments.
