Some problems with the widget on Android 9.
Often the widget hangs after a reboot and the only way to fix it is to remove and re-add it to the screen. I think this happens when the network is not yet available, but I can't say for sure. Seems to happen 80% of the time.
wait until network is ready before getting weather data
if for some reason the network is not ready, allow the widget to recover from that
Then there's a UI problem with the "failed to retrieve data screen". If there is older data, this screen should disappear and the old weather data be displayed instead. There can still be a small warning icon that current data is not available, but the way it's now, the whole widget becomes useless when the internet connection is bad. That can be solved better. This is a notable problem, because otherwise the UI is very, very good. So:
cache old weather data
try to get new data
if successful, display new data
if not successful, display old data and warning icon
Ahh, found it. I was using an app initially but realize what you were saying once I launched my browser. Yes, it seems to be a mistake but you can change the number to 31.2 by adding a period to the number right there as just did. I agree that the default value is not correct.
Admins, take note!
Yes, global models are not good for temperature prediction in mountains, and so the limit between snow and rain is not at all accurate.
Looking to Freezing Altitude is not a solution either.
Your way with Airgram is the only giving acceptable results.
You have posted exactly the same request 13 days ago !
So you have probably not read the answer which was:
« You just need to add your webcams to
Or to https://m.webcams.travel
They will appear on Windy some time later »
The tide amplitude is so small in the mediterranean sea that it is neglected for navigation. There is very little interest to add this feature in this region. So this not a bug !
The radar layer has not yet been implemented for Italy. It’s not a bug either !
I don’t know why you have problem to move the map on your screen, but someone can explain it, may be. That’s probably a bug.
I agree, it’s better to have dense/strong colours for strong winds and lighter colours for light wind or near no wind.
But you may change the colour scale for most of layers and specially for Wind. So you may have your own colour range for wind:
If you like my wind settings, I can give them to you.
Update hour in webpage is local time, while in the iOS app the update hour is UTC. At least this has to be clearly indicated, or better should be the same for both, preferably local time.
I have just checked the last ECMWF update at 08:32 UTC, both the webpage and the iOS app have been updated at same time.
