@Marienka Hi there! I'm experiencing a minor problem with the Windy app. The app's typical dark red round shaped icon is not being displayed. As a result, a grey box in the desktop, and another blue square shaped icon on the apps menu are shown by default. I tried reinstalling the app, but that didn't solve the problem. I have a Sony Xperia Z5 with Android 7.1.1. Thanks!
@Korina thank you Korina, but I am sending you pictures from an app, not a browser.
Here is another one :
Look at the digits above the red bar at the bottom of the screen.
Hope this helps.
This is by no means the big problem, just reporting it to you as it somewhat restricts useability of the app.
could you please give me more details what is the issue?
To save favorite location click on the heart symbol in the right upper corner of your screen. If you wish to change the name, go to Menu -> Favorites.
@Korina said in Snow depth doesn't honor the chosen units:
you need to choose mm for Snow in Settings, after that snow units will be shown in cm instead of inches.
Thanks, that works. The confusion is that clicking "mm" or "in" in the row header toggles the units for precipitation, but not for snow accumulation.
the update of current location is not dependent on using app, widget asks for location of the phone itself, if widget does not get it within a reasonable time, it either uses older location data or location in the app. So the problem might also be with internet connection or directly in the iPhone settings for Windy.
Thanks. Somehow (I guess right-clicking) I found a way to report errors.
And the actual paragliding-take-off I have found on OSM and then using the 'long name' to find it in Windy (proper located): Mirador Lomo Molino. As long as I remember this name and not just El Tanque or Molino I'll be able to find that spot (and added it to my favorites).
