Hi @Marienka, the North West part of Holland doesn't have weather radar data for a long time now, while other weather radar station do have data here. It is an important part of the Netherlands and includes Amsterdam and surroundings. Can you have a look why this data is missing? It use to work perfect in the whole country. Thx.

If the problem still remains, let me know in which step does the restoration fail, if there is an error message. You can attach a screenshot as well.
There is no mistake on this scale, and 3ft = 36in. It seems that makes a lot a rain, but on 10 days in tropical region that’s possible.
You can check the Rain accumulation predicted in some part of India today for the next 10 days.
Except at right end of the scale (3ft), all the other figures are in inches.
But I must say that this color scale is really imprecise at the right end of the scale. If you look at the color scale in detail via Settings > Customize color scale > Rain accumulation, you see that the pink color covers a very wide range from about 5in to more than 3ft (btw 300ft is a little bit crazy but it’s like a logarithmic scale)
If you live near the path of a tropical storm or a hurricane, you must rely on NHC advisories.
As explained by the link I provided, the global weather models (ECMWF and GFS) are not able to forecast precisely the sustained winds of these phenomenons. They are generally quite good at trajectories prediction but not so much at maximum wind forecast near the eye.
@petra-pik Thanks for coming back.
No, chuckles, it is the Windy app. I am talking about. Same logo even!
I was in discussion with FastSpring, but they have gone quiet. The registration is under a different email address which I can't publish here for obvious reasons. I have pm'ed you the email address. I hope that's OK.
Hi Petra. Thanks for your explanation. I added my town as a favourite successfully and told it to auto start-up at this location however it seems to only work on the windy.com homepage and not my embedded map on my own website? I have the map working good enough on my website however it doesn't display my town name 'Torquay'. For now I think I can live with it. Thanks :)
Also just a reminder that...
Windy does not create any forecast data but instead only visualises forecast and actual data received from various third party providers.
Windy therefore has NO control over the forecast or actual data provided.
Thank you for your understanding :)
