Hello @sprucker, thank you for your feedback. We know about this and hope soon will be more user friendly.
You can always shut down the app without rebooting the iPad. Just click twice on home button and swipe up with Windy application. Than you can start the app again.
I'm on the Nova Scotia coast in Canada. I'm pleased that the buoys are in the observations here, but as reported elsewhere they are labeled (ship) but I can easily identify them by number.
If possible in the future with buoys I think it would be very useful to show the wave data to compare with WW3 and the Euro models. In particular; Significant & Max Wave Height, and Dominant Period.
There are a few sources for data around here;
The Environment Canada
A separate set of University buoys
Keep up the great work, and thanks so much.
You’re a genius, well spotted, I’m not sure how I managed to switch this on all three of my devices, it had me confused for a week, just switched back to knots and I’m set. Can’t thank you enough, stupidity on my part
Think about your participation in Blitzortung project
I found this
but I can't understand why there is no blitzortung detector in Brazil.
Your Favorites are in the alphabetic order. I suggest that you change the name of your Favorites just adding a letter in front of the name, for example if you have:
And you want to gather separately the American names and European names, change them as:
Or you may combine the location name and your Favorites name...
It works for me.
Hi @Frankenstien , unfortunately these e-mail notifications (that should inform you about a reply here on Windy Community) are not working. You just need to log-in here and watch the notifications ("bell" icon) in the upper right corner. We're sorry about that.
Perhaps @mates-dolda could check whether it's possible or not? (We were talking about this issue some time ago when we still used the old NodeBB version).
Hi @Bebe1980 , thanks for your message. Do you mean the "Show 7 day weather at startup" settings in Menu? If this is the case, you're right, it is not working. It's either 4 day or 3 day forecast in the upper (left) corner, depending on the device.
Or if you mean anything else, could you please send a screenshot? Thank you.
