    For the last few months I’ve noticed that there is again an issue with the weather data from the radar near Riga, Latvia. The data seems to be amplified compared to the rest of the region. See the attached screenshot. [image: 1757920611235-2a742161-592a-4a45-970d-22342be8544c-image.png]

  • Solved issues and already in production version or waiting to be released.

    Still today January2026 displayed time in NEW ORLEANS doesnot correspond with ZULU!

    Different Android versions, Windy vesions in linked thread. Weather Station Widget displays wind arrows in opposite direction (pointing the angle from where wind is blowing, not the direction): IPhone equivalent Widget is displaying as expected. https://community.windy.com/post/223286

I just find 2 posts about tropical cyclones. Anyway, the problem of the antimeridian is well known and apparently cannot be solved.     @mirandog Hi, But on your first picture the time tag shows “Wed 11 - 13:00” and on the second “Wed 11 - 18:00” So it is not the same end time.

    This interference at the edge of the radar is usually due to the beam being deflected in altitude or experiencing energy attenuation. In meteorology or on the racetrack, correctly interpreting the true nature of things amidst a mass of virtual data is a crucial skill. A very practical observation!

    @Suty Sorry for the belated reply! You're entirely right, I completely missed that - I'd bookmarked the tab, without realising that the URL contains the parameters for the displayed layer... my mistake! Thanks for that, god knows how long it would've taken me to realise.

    It appears the exact same problem is happening again as described in this thread from back in Nov, 2025. No model data will load and other people in my office are reporting the same issue so it's not just me. We're tried multiple browsers as well to see if that would make a difference; Nope.
