    For the last few months I’ve noticed that there is again an issue with the weather data from the radar near Riga, Latvia. The data seems to be amplified compared to the rest of the region. See the attached screenshot. [image: 1757920611235-2a742161-592a-4a45-970d-22342be8544c-image.png]

    I am building a weather section in my project, and I have a feature to toggle between °C and °F. However, the embedded map’s legend does not update when the temperature unit is changed

    Good day. My widget displays metric units, despite the app being set to imperial. After double-checking the app, I rebooted my tablet, but the issue persisted when I again tried to add the widget. Samsung Galaxy S10+ tablet 1UI ver 8/Android 16 (latest update) Windy app updated 18 OCT 2025

    Settings glitch of "Rain Accumulation"

    There are some Windy layers which cannot be changed when using an Android or iOS device. Rain Accumulation is one of them. If you would like the list of layers which cannot be changed, it is available at Overview of units used on Windy. If you aren't interested in looking up items like this (as most users would not want to do also), then make any of those changes using the Windy website using a browser. Changes made using a browser save to the cloud and will then be available when using either an Android or iOS app. If you cannot make a change using a browser, then submit a bug report.

    Hi there, I've been testing it over and over again and it just works for me. C to F and vice versa. @justliknoah and @DigiGirlFL please also check this list of layers for which you need to change & save preferred units in the desktop version (then they will sync with your app) : https://community.windy.com/topic/5578/overview-of-units-used-on-windy

    Favourites not displaying on map or left-side menu

    It seems that this is the same problem as mentioned in https://community.windy.com/topic/5677/favorite-spot-will-not-save. If I reload the app (Ctrl-R) then the favourites do show up. However, it seems I have to do this each time I add a new Favourite to get it to show up on the map or list. (Sorry for the duplicate, difference in UK/US spelling)

    Hi @bennyboy92 , are you logged in your Windy user account (it is the same one as you are using here) when you have the app open?     @regenpfeifer Hi, firstly, Windy available completely for free, no app purchases, nothing. You probably bought the copycat version. You should ask them to return the money. Secondly, do you use the recommended OS version? You can download the latest Android version here.

    Ahh, found it. I was using an app initially but realize what you were saying once I launched my browser. Yes, it seems to be a mistake but you can change the number to 31.2 by adding a period to the number right there as just did. I agree that the default value is not correct. Admins, take note!

    @nwindy That is probably some kind of interference from the individual radar stations. This kind of thing cant realy be avoided.

    @gkikas-lgpz @vancouverca2003 Yes, global models are not good for temperature prediction in mountains, and so the limit between snow and rain is not at all accurate. Looking to Freezing Altitude is not a solution either. Your way with Airgram is the only giving acceptable results.
