    For the last few months I’ve noticed that there is again an issue with the weather data from the radar near Riga, Latvia. The data seems to be amplified compared to the rest of the region. See the attached screenshot. [image: 1757920611235-2a742161-592a-4a45-970d-22342be8544c-image.png]

    I am building a weather section in my project, and I have a feature to toggle between °C and °F. However, the embedded map’s legend does not update when the temperature unit is changed

    Different Android versions, Windy vesions in linked thread. Weather Station Widget displays wind arrows in opposite direction (pointing the angle from where wind is blowing, not the direction): IPhone equivalent Widget is displaying as expected. https://community.windy.com/post/223286

    @tz Firefox. The problem happens if I point in a location "near" the edge of the screen [image: 1540406752219-1565fac2-9135-4e5e-bba6-c4cd66a2d995-%CE%B5%CE%B9%CE%BA%CF%8C%CE%BD%CE%B1.png] The diagram pops-up normally (down there) [image: 1540406829807-dc599917-c005-43da-aed6-ef778213bd76-%CE%B5%CE%B9%CE%BA%CF%8C%CE%BD%CE%B1.png] but if I drag it in the center, I observe the problem. Hope you can imitate it.

    @thebigmuzzy There is no need to zoom to a level lesser than the model's resolution. e.g. ECMWF has a resolution of 9 km. Do not expect reliable changes in locations less than 9 km apart. Only interpolated values.

    Maybe I found the issue. Since I live in China, computer wihtout VPN connection can't get sync. In fact my home pc and my mobile can see same favourite places if I activate the VPN. Instead my pc at office can't because we have a "company VPN"

    @tgrimston The wind direction on your phone App should not be different from the wind shown your laptop if both are set on the same weather model, ECMWF or GFS. If they are similar but different from the wind direction that you observe locally, it means that the prediction of the model is wrong. Pls could you show a screen shot of your phone app ?

    @idefix37 That explains it. I guess it is not very intuitive to show the model forecasted temperature in a widget as the typical weather widget provides the current location temperature along with a multi-day forecast. Thank you again.

    In addition, if the scale is enlarged which includes the position of a favourite, and the favourite is clicked in the menu, again the scale is changed. E.g. scale enlarged to 9 by zooming in, then favourite is selected, then windy changes the scale to 7. It's impossible to select your own view with windy overriding every setting one way or another.

    Yes, I don't have this problem using firefox... And there is no bug when passing the day change line near new zealand on firefox by the way... I should probably use Firefox... But I've got all my pages and setting on chrome :) I'll just wait and see if I can fix the problem. Thanks

    Ahhh interesting. I thought ground clutter was removed during radar calibration or something. Is there a way to have automatic ground clutter filter on Windy ? It is strange that it's not a constant problem though, because now it's gone, even on Windy. I wonder if temperature, moisture or other phenomenom can increase the ground clutter. EDIT: Well, it's well explained with also other info on the website you provided, thanks. "Under highly stable atmospheric conditions (typically on calm, clear nights), the radar beam can be refracted almost directly into the ground at some distance from the radar, resulting in an area of intense-looking echoes."

    @ivo , I closed and moved all related threads and addressed the users concerned. None has reacted yet. Once we have this update in iOS and Android apps, I will make a new announcement or FAQ topic.
