I have a windy premium web account and can't find any way to cancel it. There's a fastspring 'account management' form that asks for email but it does not follow through sending info to me. It bothers me that this is so vague and cumbersome.

A drought monitoring color scale is used to show how severe drought conditions are in a region. Light colors (yellow) indicate abnormally dry conditions, while darker shades (orange to red) show moderate to extreme drought. The darkest colors (dark red or purple) represent exceptional drought, meaning severe water shortages and major impacts on agriculture and ecosystems.

Hi, we're very sorry about the delay. For safety and tagging reasons, we need to manually review every new webcam. Unfortunately, there was a bit of a surge of new webcams recently. We have strenghtened the team that handles webcam approvals, but they still have a few thousand webcams to go through, so it might take a few weeks until your webcam is reviewed.

@J-r-a9ad4f53-253f-4028-82a2-a6d0adac7da4 If you want to see areas of snow: go to "menu", "settings" and switch-on the "show precipitation type on radar". If you just want to change colors: "menu" ... "settings" ... "customize color scale".

I have a similar recurring problem where, upon opening the Windy Apple Watch App from a complication it shows a 3-hour step forecast. I have the setting for 1-hour steps enabled. If I go to settings, it confirms this. Then going back to the forecast it appears to reload with 1-hour steps. One difference to the above reports however is I don't need to change any of the settings. It seems that opening the settings screen is enough to correct the problem. I've uploaded a screen recording of the behaviour on my device: https://d.pr/v/USsdYc This doesn't happen every time I open the app and I haven't identified a particular pattern besides it occurs often enough to be irritating. When it does happen, the "Account" section of the Settings is temporarily unset which sounds like the watch app could be losing logged in state temporarily? Is this still something the developers are aware of? Or has anyone found a permanent fix?

The Garmin Edge series bike computers also support widgets, so I’d like to suggest extending Windy support to these devices as well. Having access to recent weather forecasts and even the rain radar during a ride would be incredibly helpful for cyclists, especially on longer routes. I often follow weather-dependent cycling and outdoor tools (I also collect related resources at gamehub.onl, and Windy on Garmin Edge would be a fantastic addition to that ecosystem. Thanks for considering this feature it would be awesome to see it in the future!

Starting from today (25 Jan./06:55Z) I think they realized the problem so, in METAR coding, they omitted temperature/dew point measurments. [image: 1769329422865-d93c765f-d562-43f9-8681-a588e6743eb5-%CE%B5%CE%B9%CE%BA%CF%8C%CE%BD%CE%B1.png]

It seems you have added KBED to your "Favorites" or "Saved Locations" list in your Windy account.

@Jesse-Zwart Is there a reason why some parts are coloured and some are not? The purpose of this layer is to show areas that present convective risks. So why add colors to areas without this risk? But you can do it -> Settings -> Customize color scales. Can the radar reflection, which shows reflections of water particles (if I am correct), and the satellite cloud temperature be used to determine whether there is a chance of bad weather? It is theoretically possible to mix 2 colored layers, but the result is very poor. You would be disappointed. Is it currently not possible to have the satellite widget with a radar overlay? No, this is not possible.

@jmawer Agreed, adding the UKMO model would be a great improvement. It performs well in the Southern Hemisphere, so having it available for NZ forecasts would be very valuable....

@NilsMM In Windy, waves heights are Hs i.e. significant waves height (SWH). Same for the swell. [image: 1768640450537-17628121-53e9-47f8-b327-3674ce381a21.jpeg] In addition you can check this thread

@idefix37 @suty thanks for your reply, I did understand what @idefix37 was saying but disagreed a bit that It was simple to do. What I meant was that; from the routes I've already uploaded from my laptop through [image: 1768589789646-dcfb8411-675a-4108-ab5c-2cdc6475b0d5-image.png] is not possible to load and mark them as favorites, there's no option for that! However I have tested loading a gpx file from my windy app on my ipad and then add it to favorites as I upload it, doing this way it does show in favorites! So it means that I have to upload again all the routes already loaded using my laptop's browser. In in one of my comments I have put a similar screen print like this (I've put this fav btn!) [image: 1768592291003-0c9078e1-0727-4ba1-99c6-c9e48e361302-image.png] giving the idea of placing an favorite button so after uploadin an KML or GPX file the user can also mark it as favorite. Would like to thank you guys so much for answering my question.

@jrwang said One of main features I like about the meteoblue.com interface is the availability of short-term verification, I don't think Meteoblue's graphs are any different from Windy's comparison of “Observation vs forecast”. Meteoblue doesn't compare forecasts for day 1, day 2 or day 3, but rather the current day forecast and the previous day.

@OliLuki This was possible a few years ago on iOS devices. But it was replaced by the crosshair and the map swiping because the tip of a finger really doesn't allow you to choose a precise location. Furthermore, next to a city or near a POI, it was those points that were selected!

@Gabriel-Gomes-12 Hello, we get radar data from external, mainly national, services, so we are not responsible for the correctness and performance as Windy.com. We are aware of these issue, but right now, there is not better way how to handle this.

@Kevin-Cole-4 Hello and thank you for your suggestion. We receive many similar feedback and suggestions for a customization of Windy, however, we can't add all of them. We want to keep Windy customizable in certain limits, since it would be then really difficult to debug the app and help users with their issues in the app. Also app could be much slower in performance then.

@jmh2002 Hei, It took 7 years but its fixed now, it finally shows Hemsedal and not Hello a sfsjdgksajkjfda @jmh2002 said in "форель" or trout, shows as the name of the village Hemsedal in Norway.: Thank you for your post, however the place names are not controlled by Windy. Please see the following posts about how the map data for Windy is sourced and displayed from www.openstreetmap.org: https://community.windy.com/topic/4649/how-to-correct-errors-in-the-base-maps https://community.windy.com/topic/5564/disputed-territories-on-windy Please also note: For every language, a different place name label can be displayed, so please choose your correct language and data display. Further discussion of place name and language issues or disputes should be directed to the OpenStreetMap Forum here: https://forum.openstreetmap.org/index.php > scroll down & select > users: (the relevant country for your dispute and/or question) In the case of a political dispute please leave such topics out of the Windy forum and instead focus on the discussion of weather. Thank you :) It took 7 years but its fixed now!! Good Job!! Hemsedal is now Hemsedal again, not "форель" Russians still wellcome to fish here!

@Gkikas-LGPZ @mark-weaver It is important to note that the probability of meeting these max waves is much lower than that of waves at significant height (SWH). Bureau of Meteorology consider that the max waves (2 x SWH) may be met 3 or 4 times per day. [image: 1767185842932-3699614a-212f-4ae5-aa35-ff276bf1fbef.jpeg] Météo France forecast 1 max wave (1.8 x SWH) per 6 hours. @Gkikas-LGPZ You are right, these temperatures are only valid when displaying the last minutes of the radar loop.
