A drought monitoring color scale is used to show how severe drought conditions are in a region. Light colors (yellow) indicate abnormally dry conditions, while darker shades (orange to red) show moderate to extreme drought. The darkest colors (dark red or purple) represent exceptional drought, meaning severe water shortages and major impacts on agriculture and ecosystems.

I got it... I have the heart icon when I search a location in the bar. If I want to have the heart icon in the middle of nowhere (which is most often the case !), I need to ask for the local forecasts, and then the heart icon appears on the right of the box. Suggestion for improvment : when we right click on a place (the middle of nowhere...), Windy could propose to add to the favorites (in addition of others actions). Thanks.

Hi @suty and @simonurbanek I can confirm that I have also still this issue, looks like it is behaving for me the same way as @ctd_ mentioned, it is enough to go to the settings and it is working again, unfortunately only for some time :/

Types of tunderstorms Tunderstorms usually have similar physical features but their intensity degree of development and associated weather to differ . thay are generally classified as Airmass and Frontal . Air mass Thunderstorms Air mass thunderstorms generally form in a warm , moist air and isolated or scattered over large area . they are usually caused by solar heating of the land which results in convection currents that lift unstable air and are most common during summer afternoons or in coastal areas at night . Air mass thunderstorms can also be caused by orographic lifting . although they are usually scattered along individual mountain peaks . they may cover large areas . they may be embedded in other clouds making them difficult to identify when approached from the Windward (the opposite of Lee ward ) side of a mountain . Nocturnal thunderstorms can occure in late spring and summer during the late night or early morning hours when relatively moist air exists aloft . they are usually found from the mississippi valley westward . nocturnal storms cover many square miles and their effects may continue for hours at a given location . Frontal Thunderstorms Frontal thunderstorms can be associated with any type of front . those which occure with a warm front are usually obscured by stratiform clouds . you should expect thunderstorms when there is showery precipitation near warm front . in a cold front the cumulonimbus clouds are often visible in a continuous line parallel to the frontal surface . Note : Squall line is a narrow band of active thunderstorms which normally contains very severe weather and is often forms 50 to 300 miles ahead of front .

Only getting around to this now because electricity was gone for days. Very high impact storm, although it was an Ex-Hurricane. It sure felt like a Hurricane!! High damage across all of Ireland which unfortunately also caused the deaths of 3 people. "The strongest eastern Atlantic hurricane on records" apparently

Pressure in hPa (hectoPascal). The "standard" pressure on the surface (sea level) is 1013 hPa. As we go up, the pressure falls. So, at 850 hPa we are at elevation of 1500m (5.000 ft) at 500 hPa, 18.000 ft etc
