@Antonio-Rivero-2 Apparently you are using the ECMWF model. Have you tried the other models in your area? I mean GFS, ICON, METEOBLUE and AROME ANT. In your other post you are talking about thunderstorms. It is very difficult for weather models to forecast them very precisely. So with stormy weather check different models and in addition the radar layer can help predict rain up to one hour in advance.

Hi, we're trying to get the webcam operational again on windy after moving our hosting provider of the website. I've already submitted a request to change the endpoint over 3 weeks ago but have heard nothing back. The old URL still works in a browser but does a bit of a janky image replacement using js which might not be compatible with windy. The old webcam is here but is no longer public: https://www.windy.com/webcams/edit/1653631975?55.948,-3.196,12,p:cams,m:fesaf3L I've also setup a static site which hosts the same image over at https://roofcam.castlerockedinburgh.com/ with the static image available on https://roofcam.castlerockedinburgh.com/roofcam_latest.jpg Could someone look into why this webcam is no longer appearing? Thank you, ron.

@idefix37 I do have an Ultra 3, but I don't think there is anything Ultra-specific about this watch face.

@46er In the context of fire, MW/km² refers to the fire radiative power (FRP), which measures the rate at which energy is radiated from a fire. It is typically expressed in megawatts (MW) and provides valuable information about a fire's energy release rate. This metric is used to assess the intensity of wildfires and their potential impact on the environment.

@aLx-G-2 Well, integrating Windy data/visualisations into Strava would definitely be possible. But it's really up to the Strava dev team, not us. If anybody in Strava is interested, there is an API Documentation ready at https://api.windy.com/ We can do an individual commercial deal, but they have to be interested first.

@sekramer10 I don’t know why you want to plot the pressure along the path in the route planner. You should explain why you would like to get this data. But the current UI does not make it possible. A very rough workaround is to display the Pressure layer together with the route planner diagram. Here is the Pressure map with my customized color scale for pressure (gradient of blue for pressure less than 1013hPa and gradient of red for pressure higher than 1013hPa, so not very different from the default Pressure layer in Windy). Remembering the color will give you an idea of the expected pressure along the route. [image: 1773475835878-44aa2aba-bbd2-4d53-a6fb-b1a96c399f86.jpeg] [image: 1773475852399-fbc6f7c8-7d38-447d-b2f2-5f505d302e09.jpeg] But it is important to note that Pressure in Windy is the pressure at sea level (amsl), not the pressure at ground level. If you foresee a trek in the Himalayan montains, Windy can’t forecast directly the pressure at ground level.

@Eduard-Font You can see that NEMS is available over Spain. The display below is visible in the browser version, but in the mobile app too. with my custom color scale for wind. [image: 1773325879708-img_3273.jpeg] However it is not available in the detailed forecast table where it is replaced by Meteoblue (MBLUE)

@mortenhojlund Hello. I'm sorry but windy does not have any archive wind data as Windy only provides forecast and the 1 year Radar / Satellite archive. What location do you need the data for? I might know another website that might help you

@Gail-Hamilton said in radar future forecast: in Windy the “forecast models” listed (like ECMWF or GFS) are actually numerical weather models rather than direct radar-based future frames, which is probably why they appear confusing It is not confusing. Weather forecast is done by weather models NOT by radars which are observation devices, nothing else. The extrapolation of the last image of the radar loop is just an extrapolation. See this article in Windy to understand what a weather radar is..

@Gail-Hamilton It is not an issue. It is hail detected by radar as confirmed by this post.

@jade25 said in Weather in France Affecting Streaming Quality – Anyone Experienced This?: Hi everyone, I’m based in France and often check Windy to follow weather conditions in my area. Recently I noticed something interesting while streaming content on my website during bad weather, especially when there are strong winds or heavy rain. The streaming quality sometimes drops or buffers more than usual during storms. I’m wondering if weather conditions like strong winds, heavy rainfall, or thunderstorms could actually affect internet stability or streaming performance in some areas. Since Windy shows detailed wind and weather forecasts, I’ve started checking it to see if there’s any connection between bad weather and the streaming issues I notice. Has anyone else experienced something similar in France? Do certain weather conditions tend to affect internet infrastructure or streaming reliability? Just curious to hear your thoughts or experiences. 🌧️🌬️📡 Hello. I'm not sure how you get your internet. (Landline, Satellite, Mobile). But satellite (services such as Starlink) can be affected by strong rain.
