This phone is probably using another app than Windy. These apps show radar-like pictures which are not provided by real weather radar but from modified rain forecast images. It's easy to tell if these images are just radar-like, because they display radar images in the middle of the oceans.

Hi,

It's well known that the wind on land doesn't have the same strength and direction as it does at sea.
Frankly, I don't see your problem, because at a given location, you can display the local wind and swell forecasts either on the wind layer, or on the swell or wave layers.

Open the Windy.com app and log in with your account Open the subscription offer and click on “restore purchases.”

This action should assign the Premium to your account, and you can use it across your devices.

Reports of the ending of the wet season have been a bit optimistic.

Over the past three nights another ~470 mm of cumulative rain fell. (559.4 mm for all of March so far) and another ~300 mm is forecast, which could easily turn out to be another 600 mm, as that has been the trend this year. Just finished scrubbing the walls and doors with bleach, to remove the mold that suddenly grew out of nowhere last month.

Must be a very green continent from space at the moment.

@Suty Thanks! That's what I thought. When I subscribed last April, didn't stop to think that the premium subscription could be used on multiple devices (as long as they are owned by the same person).

And thanks for the VERY fast response.

Unfortunately, that is not possible. I would also like to see this feature updated in the future.

I also assume this is not a one time error as I have encountered this problem quite a few times before.

As Premium user you can check what is the best model at a given location.
With Reported wind or Reported temperature, select a weather station near the location. Better to use an official one, wmo or airport rather than a pws or madis.
The Observation vs forecast feature shows a panel comparing forecasts and observations for wind and temperature mainly.

And on about a week it shows what was the smallest median error per model. In this example it is Meteoblue (only avalaible in the detailed forecast panel).

To get the detailed color scale, in Settings go to Customize color scale, at bottom of the list. You’ll find the default color scale setting.
