    pywws - Great python software app to send data to Windy

    I haven't been able to transmit weather data to Windy from pywws since May 2024. Do anybody know if this service is broken at the Windy side?

    @korina Problem solved Your SSL certificate (Let's Encrypt R3 intermediate CA ) expired on 30 sep 2021 but the raspberry pi running cumulusmx still use it, so the solution was to disable the ca-certificate. sudo apt install -y ca-certificates sudo sed -i '/^mozilla\/DST_Root_CA_X3.crt$/ s/^/!/' /etc/ca-certificates.conf sudo update-ca-certificates PS: My station ID is f04aba5b

    Thread update There have been important changes since this discussion started. The original API this thread was about is now deprecated and no longer supported. Please make sure to read the opening post, which has been updated with the current status and next steps. We now strongly recommend using API v2, which is the only actively maintained and supported version going forward. The full and up-to-date documentation for API v2 is available here: https://stations.windy.com/api-reference Because this thread originally served the legacy API and to avoid further confusion, it is now locked. For all new implementations and questions, please refer to the new API documentation and start a new topic if needed. Thanks to everyone who contributed here, and thanks for your understanding.

    @tomslavkovsky I have been stuggling to get windy to publish my data. This screenshot worked a treat. For a complete novice it was very helpful. My first attempt did not work. I think my API had expired. I deleted my Old station added a new one, with the new API key I was publishing data on Windy in 3 minutes..........Thanks

Really admirable. I have followed your instructions and the transfer from weatherlink to windy seems to work except the precipitation ... On the first go around (see 1 in attachment) all the rain in 24hrs was acumulated adding up to hundreds of mm's. Then I copied the gs.code anew and now (2) there is no more rain reported ... I must be doing something wrong .. can you advice? Thanks a millions so much for your help!     @Suty Sorry. I just realized you have to go to Menu, then down toward the bottom it says Air Quality Stations. You add them to your map or pin it.
