Helix Barani is a very good weather station, super easy to install, no need of electricity (equiped with solar panel) neither wireless (use the Sigfox network)

Madis weather stations are personal weather stations, and there are several showing wrong indication for wind. The location / installation of this weather station is probably bad, or any other problem.
The wmo weather station in New Plymouth and that of the Wellington airport give more consistent wind direction with forecast. But they are official and professional stations.
