ACCESS model is updated now. We were not able to update model sooner, because only part of the data for the model run was received. So one whole update of the model was skipped at Windy. Data stream was restored and we have complete data for the latest model run. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Long delays in updating the UKV model, what is the problem ?

@Ondřej-Šutera Your Bangkok radar is certainly not working properly. The two screenshots below show yours (I'm the blue dot) with no rain around me, and the Thai Weather Burea radar showing a storm on top of me. Time 13:13 UTC (7:13pm in Thailand).

Hi,
This is because real weather radars do not predict future precipitation. If other apps do this, they just use and scroll the last frame of the loop to make an extrapolation in future. This does not allow to predict future cell development.
Or much better, look at Meteo Swizz, you should know they have developed a now-casting software that provides radar-like forecast. It is based on COSMO 1 km resolution. This type of model is not available all around the world !
