This actually a concept I've always been really interested in. The correct term would be "nowcast", or "extrapolation". Since models tend to be unreliable for precipitation (especially in unstable air-masses) over very short lead times, prediction of such features is actually better served by this technique. It would be really cool to see it in Windy.
Are you talking about the slope angle of swell?
Breaking waves are observed near the seashore where the water depths are reduced and when the ratio height/wave length is about 1/7 i.e. the wave steepness dramatically increases.
Global waves models like ECMWF WAM and WW3 are not able to show that because their resolution is too low (13km and 22km) in particular to take into account a precise topography of seabed.

@petrbonito is there any message when the application shows you the error?
@vasek233 Bohužel nepodporujeme verzi android 4 https://community.windy.com/topic/12721/nejdou-stahovat-mapy-offline?_=1593524942996
@Ahmed-A-AS yes, I checked that as well. They can have it named incorrectly. The official code for this airport is HECP but they also show code H13. That may be the reason it sends information about 2 airports instead of 1. The second airport is the same case. It is really not a mistake on our end, we just display provided data :)
Hi @tivana You can turn on Particles animation:
– in app – Menu and then scroll to the section 'Display on map' button 'particles animation'
– desktop – in lower right corner you have 'particles animation' button'
Cities always show values of the layer you are viewing.
