@korina Nice! Thank you for your hard work! love it :D
@bernardb Hello, this is not a bug, scale on the map is default in km.
@kbruce6 Hello, thank you, we will try to correct it.
Hi @jenkida, I would recommend uninstalling and installing the application.
Do you get any error message when you try to download a map? What version of iOS do you have?
To post a screenshot it must not exceed 1MB
Thank you for your reply and support. Upon updating the webview, it works wonder again. Thank You so much.
@albion-dk Hello, do you have option "Remember me" selected?
The codes, that render the summary, are same as in prev version. Nothing changed. Probably we have slow backend server s sometimes.
Are you talking about Windy Maps? The navigation app.
@stefkal7, it takes some time for the change to be visible also in our application.
Hello @rosa_s, Android 4 isn't a supported version anymore. For the application to work properly, please, update to the newer version.
If you are talking about Windy Maps, this app don’t make possible to calculate distances at sea.
This is possible in Windy.com, the weather app.
@fsterling Hello, thank you for reporting this, we will look into this. Satellite map may be added in the future.
@Peter-Brimhall Hello, could you please enclose a screenshot?
I think the Windy point of view is totally correct:
*"Windy uses data from Open Street Maps for our base maps.
What is on OSM, we use. If you think that something is not correct, please report it at www.openstreetmap.org or correct it.
Also we are aware that there is a lot of wars and territorial disputes all over the world. [...]
We are focused on good weather product and we have absolutely no resources to present different maps to different countries.
Please accept it."*
It´s understandable that some people will be offended, but the way to change it is through OSM. Better that than no windy maps ;)
Also, windy has no obligation to provide politically correct information. It´s just a tool, if it´s useful use it, if it´s not accurate enough for your useage, then use something else.
P.D. I´m just a user and in no way afliated to anybody.
@Nyxtorm Hi, I have reported this issue to our team, they will look into it. Thank you!
Okay thanks for that. Looks like there are contour lines when you select the cycle map layer on open street map. Look forward to Windy being updated :)
