In the Chinese region, if there is no VPN, it is impossible to access the Windy API. Please help solve this problem.

We are still resting on the GPS US geolocation system.

Why ?
We are unconscious but depending on GPS is outage.
We need to rely on at least 1 more alternative system depending obviously of the satellites chips embedded in our respective mobile devices.

Please offer optional alternative so the geolocation become more reliable.
Knowing that such app like yours can be used to geotrack people daily.

PWS API v2 - Pressure Question

@mcrossley Hello, you are right, but answer was not clear at all. Weather stations primarily report Mean Sea Level (MSL) Pressure, which is the station's atmospheric pressure corrected to sea level.

Images w/ Weather Data

Hello-

All of my weather stations (there are 4) have web cams that grab still images. The idea is to grab data and images for people to see conditions in the area. I cannot seem to figure out how I might attach these images to the data. The best I can do is to change the image of the PWS definition, but that doesn't really make sense.

Then I see there are a bunch of webcams, but I cannot seem to figure out how to add my images to that database and then how to attach it to my PWS.

Is this possible? Otherwise I guess I can make the URL of the PWS link out to the images, but including them in the detailed view would be really awesome!

Hi @leehall-agri, Thank you for your praise—we really appreciate it! We would also like to have more cameras from the UK, but it's a process that we can't really influence. Cameras are added to Windy by their owners, so it is entirely up to them whether or not they appear on our service. However, if you know of a site where there are more cameras available that are not on Windy, we would be happy if you shared it with us and we will then try to contact the owner and agree on cooperation. real-time weather widget based on location

Hi, it would be great if you could add a real-time weather widget based on location that can be embedded into a website.
...that would display key values such as current air temperature, air pressure, feels-like temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction, and the probability of precipitation (%).

It would be nice if there were a synoptic weather map as well.
It would be nice if the radar could show hail during thunderstorms.
3 It would be nice if you had a feature showing sunrise and sunset times, as well as moonrise and moonset.
It would be great to add more products to the widgets on windy.com.

Since about an hour we cannot load the windy script anymore as we are seeing cors issues. It has been working perfectly fine and we have not changed anything on our system side.

@ALUCARD-3 You don't specify where you observed this Omega blocking pattern. I don't see it in the Northern Hemisphere. But the model has been updated in the meantime. @francescogola You can use any input elements. If it is a text type element, you will have to add ev.stopPropagation() on the keydown event for your input element. Windy uses +, -, f, left and right Arrows as hotkeys, with the listener on body.

Isolines of temperature seem so smooth

Here is a 850 hPa temperature map with isotherms (isolines of temperature).

Although the temp. in a location is 14 C,
lines of 17 and 15C are not shown.
(I have drawn it by hand - yellow lines).

Maybe you have to adjust the smoothing factor for the isolines.
