Hi,
I’m just bought Windy Premium – I received the confirmation email and I’m signed in with the same email I used for the purchase.
However, my account still shows the free version, and I can’t find any way to contact an admin directly.

I’ve already tried refreshing and logging out/in again, but Premium features are still locked.

Can someone please help me or tell me what to do next?

Hi,
I assume you are talking about the angle relative to North, that is, the azimuth direction. In this case angle and direction is the same.

The swell direction at a given location is displayed in the browser version as shown here:

Same in the mobile app, in the top banner.

In Windy, directions are rounded to the nearest ten degrees.
For example, 218° is displayed as 220°.

There are no ads in Windy, even for free users.
Could you show a screenshot?

In the mobile app, the weather picker has long since disappeared. It's been replaced by a crosshairs that you activate by tapping the screen. Then, simply move the map to position the crosshairs at the desired location.

I believe this is how weather.com does it, and it's nice to see the radar through the past X hours and the predicted.

This lifetime subscription for this amount is NOT a Premium subscription on Windy.com. Windy.com has a red logo, identical to the one at the top of this page.
There is another app called Windy but with a blue logo. It has nothing to do with Windy.com and offers a lifetime Pro subscription. However, you are not on that app's forum.

It could.
Specially in convective weather with enough humidity. To check it where there are converging winds, switch to Rain layer to see if the model predicts some rain or thunderstorms in the same area.
The picture of converging winds that I provided was in a desert, so there was no chance of rain.
At the moment in Louisiana there are strong thunderstorms

And there are areas of converging winds at surface and at 850hPa

The default wind height in Windy is "surface". This means a height of 10 m, as wind is usually measured at official weather stations.

I assume you are talking about the ECMWF model ?

See what is the meaning of update time.

Below is the schedule for this model (HRES is the high resolution model from ECMWF that you get in Windy).

You see that the forecast steps are more than an hour apart after 90 hours.
Dissemination is when raw forecast data is sent to users (Windy is one of these users)
Note that Windy requires then about an additional hour to process the data and produce the resulting update of the app at update time.

@Anne-Chen You are a bit newer user on our platform and you purchased Premium via Paddle, that we started to use a few months ago. When you access the platform you should be able to find the cancellation button there.
At the moment, I still see that you subscription is active.
