Please see the following posts about how the map data for Windy is sourced and displayed from www.openstreetmap.org:
Please also note: For every language, a different place name label can be displayed, so please choose your correct language and data display.
Further discussion of place name and language issues or disputes should be directed to the OpenStreetMap Forum here: https://forum.openstreetmap.org/index.php > scroll down & select > users: (the relevant country for your dispute and/or question)
In the case of a political dispute please leave such topics out of the Windy forum and instead focus on the discussion of weather.
Thank you for your understanding :)
I've noticed saturation noise on Estonian weather radar. This has been going on for some weeks. If weather is clear there usually no noise.
Constant noise in Sweden between Falun and Mora. These artefacts are there 24/7 and even with clear weather.

@akovia yeah you're right, those settings for Temperature and sea temperature are not connected. I have put it on our backlog, you can check the development here:

Hello @pcitroen, thank you for using Windy, we're happy that you love it!
Regarding windchill factor, please check this link: https://community.windy.com/topic/5530/heat-index-and-wind-chill
Hi I do agree with the need for something to adjust the peed of the animation, I suggest to the developer that the lower bar (time span) should be adjustable also, perhaps this way if you only select three days for example you may observe the data at a speed you can realize what will happen! Thanks.
Hi @mariusz05 (OS: Android 7.1), thank you for reaching out to us & reacting to my answer in Google play store. We've been just discussing this problem also here in this thread: https://community.windy.com/topic/5440/cloudbase-in-feet/7
Thanks for the screenshots indeed! We will investigate & fix it. Best ~ Marie
About legend: It seems that its sampling is not sufficient to capture rapid changes.
About color gradient:
This new gradient is divided in a few "subgradients" and contains two emphasized isotherms:
Under 0: Freezing temperatures gradient
0: Freezing point isotherm
0-10: Cold temperatures gradient
10-20: Calm temperatures gradient
20-30: Warm temperatures gradient
30: 30 degree isotherm
Over 30: Hot temperatures gradient
I agree that it is subjective and also tightly connected with celsius units, but I found it good for quick orientation, which is important in such visualization.
Colors were selected to be suggestive. Cold/warm
