Hi @Pasha060, what do you mean? If your location, go to Menu – Settings and change your Start-up location to your IP address or location of your choice. You can also go to your phone's settings and forbid application to use your location.
When I look at my favorites cities I see that they are all displayed with my home time and not the local time of that city. One of my favorites is in new zealand so I expect that the timeline should display different times there
I've made changes to the color scaling for a number of the weather parameters and it appears that the temperature and dew point temp color scaling is the same or share the same color scale.
The change I made to the temperature scale was linked to the dew point temperature display and for my setup carry the same scaling across both parameters.
You just have to be a bit clever in how your break up the colors for both parameters.
Unless anyone else has found another means to separate the two scales?????
The Windy "settings" section allows you to customise your own color scaling for all the available parameters. I have been able to modify the wind scale (and other parameters) to suit my own personal preferences and this is retained through my personal profile.
I agree with these suggestions. Also, buoy markers or the ability to add personal markers would be great for a number of reasons.
Also, I used to pull up wind data from a couple of days in the past but now it seems that that feature has been disabled and I can no longer see past wind results
@markfranklin99 If you were using the ECMWF model, you might want to try using the GFS model. I know a few people had the same issue. And I know once the developers finish making the radar layer, they will start to introduce some new weather models. So be patient! :)
@masr said in Offline while crossing the Atlantic!:
Hi guys. I usually sail a lot and use Windity for weather forecasts, especially low pressures center location, bearing and speed.
Windy has the ability to have up to a 10 day forecast but only available when you have an internet connection. The last month, while crossing the North Atlantic ocean from America to Spaib I wasn't able to check Windy without mobile coverage. Is there any chance that you improve this? I'm pretty sure you can, however you could display a message saying "Beware that this forecast couldn't be updated due no internet connection since...".
Same situation as above, I need to have forecast animation accessible while off line in offshore passages.
Congratulations on current achievements.
