Not a bug.
The performance is proportional to the number of particles being displayed and their length. You can get better graphics performance and efficiency via doing the following and still see the wind direction indications:
@kiwiladflyer said in New Zealand Airports:
NZNV NZDN NZQN NZHK NZTU NZWB NZNS NZPM NZPP NZNR NZAP NZNP NZGS NZRO NZTG NZWR NZKK NZKT NZAR
NZNV= Invercargill Airport
NZND= Dunedin Airport
NZQN= Queenstown International Airport
nOT REALLY DONE YET, sorry. I will update again in a week.
Until last year, a 3D map was available on Windy in addition to the Mercator projection map. Unfortunately it has been removed. At least a polar projection map would be a good solution for high latitude weather.
There is no real guide to explain how to use this App.

My preferred location is Withymoor Village, it's where I live.
In Windy Settings, my startup location is Withymoor Village. It is set in Safari (Version 12.1 (14607.1.40.1.4) as my home page. When Safari loads Windy goes to another nearby location - not my homepage or my preferred start up page - which is Withymoor Village!
If I open a new tab in Safari, go to another random page, let just say google, if I then key in the browser address bar "windy.com" and hit enter, it does actually go to my preferred start up location - see the screenshot. BUT when Safari starts up and loads my homepage which is set to Withymoor Village, that is when I end up at another nearby location - not Withymoor Village! Very annoying.
The same thing happens in Firefox and google chrome so I don't thin this is just a Safari issue.
Hi Radek, thanks for the reply. I see that the configuration tool list only has those 3 options. But I have found that others are in fact supported +5 days (calendar=120) and +10 days (calendar=240). I just wondered if the "calendar=" parameter was documented somewhere, and why it accepts some values and not others. Thanks!
