@ivo Is there away to stickpin a certain weathermodel? E.g. I wanted to have ICON set permanently. How would I Do this? Looks like at the moment the user has to always check which weathermodel is being used. That can be annoying when flipping back and fro through maps and Forecasts... appreciate your answer. Best, Chris

It seems that the http:// prefix is mandatory, keep that in mind ! Or simply, test the result in the "Preview" first when creating the post !
I'm working on an open source, non-profit mobile application that aggregates information about the local kite spots. One of the functionalities is a quick access to the spots' weather forecast. I'd like to provide the Windy weather forecast as one of the options. User can tap a button with a Windy logo, a web view will open and the Windy.com website will be displayed. Is it ok?
@antonfrisk said in How to set up a Windy Alert:
Request for feature: Often I want a different alert times for the weekends, such as all day, compared to the weekday where I'm only interested in the evening weather. Could you make a feature where times are chosen in relation to weekdays?
That would be cool. I have been thinking of this option too, but I doubt that they will do because it is very complicated task :P

Thank you for your post. Unfortunately the place names are not controlled by Windy.
Please see the following posts about how the map data for Windy is sourced and displayed from www.openstreetmap.org:
Please also note: For every language, a different place name label can be displayed, so please choose your correct language and data display.
Further discussion of place name and language issues or disputes should be directed to the OpenStreetMap Forum here: https://forum.openstreetmap.org/index.php > scroll down & select > users: (the relevant country for your dispute and/or question)
In the case of a political dispute please leave such topics out of the Windy forum and instead focus on the discussion of weather.
Thank you :)
