I'm super excited to see what new big features or enhancements are coming to Windy next!
New Global models?
New Satellite Layers?
More 3D mode enhancements?
More forecast layers?
Love using Windy :)

@idefix37 Thank you :)
I assume Windy uses NEMS30 (directly or indirectly from Meteoblue) for outside Europe (Globally).
@idefix37 I like that idea too :) Either would be great or maybe both.
The column lock might be easier to implement because it's already locked for single forecasts on the browser.
@Korina Fingers crossed that the UKMO-10 Global model is still being considered to be implemented into Windy soon? :)
Hi there,
I'm curious to know what the resolution of Meteoblue is that Windy uses?
Does Windy use NEMS30 Global from Meteoblue?
Will Windy be able to visual display Meteoblues forecasts like they do with ECMWF, GFS, ect?
Thanks again :)
@Ondřej-Šutera It would be nice to have a toggle button above the 'Home' to quickly switch between all forecast models.
It would be much quicker instead of opening the menu and scroll down the list just to switch to another model.
@stitch I'd vote for that function.
@stitch said in Adding Hi Res ACCESS C Weather Model:
I like and would support the implementation of this model
I'd also like to add my vote for more ACCESS models.
Another good point to add BoM data is that it has a global forecast called:
ACCESS-G Global (approx 25km) 6 hourly to 240 hours (10 days).
ACCESS-R Regional (approx ~12km) 3 hourly to 72 hours (3 days).
ACCESS-C+ Cities (approx ~4km) 1 hourly to 36 hours (1.5 days)

Hi,
It would benefit weather forecasters and weather enthusiasts in Australia greatly if the high resolution ACCESS C model was added to windy.
This model is similar to the ACCESS G Model, but it has a 1.5km resolution. The ACCESS C model is for all capital cities in Australia.
This model is fantastic for storm, rain, and wind forecasting.
Here are some details here if anyone on the Windy team likes the idea:

@idefix37 It would certainly be useful on the desktop.
I believe it would be useful for on mobile also because you can still see a full day beside the column (3hr view).
The column could shrink down to the icons (Time, Temp, Wind etc) to allow for more space for the forecasts?
