Saving default forecast to MBLUE
-
Hello
How do I save my default forecast to MBLUE?
This is the most accurate for my area… -
@eway99 Hello, currently there is no option to save Meteoblue as your default model. We will consider adding this option.
-
@korina I agree - would love to set mblue as default
I always compare a local station to the different models to see which is most accurate. Mblue is always right on. Other models are typically 10° warmer… we live right near the ocean and I understand that mblue does a better job with large bodies of water nearby.
Thanks

I need MBLUE as default as well. For a few months already I found all others not accurate except MBLUE. Hope we can have it as default soon.

Just raising this up because every time I open the app I have to go to the Forecast, select the drop down, change it off ECWMF to either MBLUE or HRRR because we live in a location with a mountain microclimate not more than a few km across. Every. Single. Time that I open the app I have to waste a little bit of my day to get a forecast that isn’t 10C off because it covers too large an area. 9km away is 600m of elevation change and wildly different weather. @Korina please raise this up! Just add a “save last used model as default” like the 1h/3h setting!

@Jacob-Alheid
Have you tried Use last overlay in Start up layer layer? It saves the layer but also the model that you used last time on Windy. So you can save HRRR. For MBLUE it is different because this model is only available at point forecast and you can only set it in the table forecast. -
If you were to choose one aspect of your favorite forecasting service (such as MBLUE) that you find most beneficial for accurate predictions in your area what specific feature or data parameter stands out to you, and how has it positively influenced your weather-related decision-making?
