@JojoS said in Confidence indication: Would it be possible to display the confidence in the model accuracy? For example at this location the wind direction, strength, temperature, etc will be X. What will be the percentage change that it will rain? Currently the display only displays things as certainties. Rain or no rain. The UK MET office displays the % chance of rain. I prefer windy for various reasons, but miss that feature. I believe that the UK Met office are moving towards that type of forecast in the near future, they have not confirmed if this data will be available to customers (such as windy.com) If you have time then read this artical by the met office - https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/about-us/news-and-media/media-centre/weather-and-climate-news/2026/why-probability-is-the-key-to-future-weather-forecasts Basically, when a weather model is run, they have 1 member (when they run the model once) which is run at a high resolution and this is called the Operations run. This is what is displayed on windy, when you click on ECMWF, GFS for example, you are viewing the Operation Run. Then they will run the model again and again with different starting conditions, (not by much, changing a temperature by 1c in one place, etc). This is the ensemble, ECMWF run theirs 50 times each run for example. The UK Met Office want to move towards their MOGREPS Model which is an ensemble model rather than just 1 operation run. Then use MOGREPS to look at a location, and work out the probability of rain by looking at the ensemble run, if only 3/10 runs have rain then there would be a 30% probability of rain. Since they are doing that, I would imagine that data should become available to the public. I hope that makes sense. (@idefix37, Please read through it and make sure I have not made any major mistakes when explain it. Thanks)

Hello, I’m having an issue where the plugin loads but doesn’t show correctly in the interface. I noticed this while testing during a trip to Dubai and thought maybe it’s related to version mismatch or missing files. Any suggestions on what to check first? Click for more details if there’s a basic checklist for new plugin submissions.

@Suty As another user suggested, instead of snowflakes, it would be better to add a new color layer to the radar with a pink gradation. This has already been done by other sites and the result is visually very pleasing. https://www.weatherandradar.com/weather-map https://www.netweather.tv/live-weather/radar Rain Viewer has also introduced a dedicated snow layer with a light blue color: https://www.rainviewer.com/it/weather-radar-map-live.html It also makes sense to continue with color levels on the radar instead of icons. Thank you!

@Suty I mean that the resolution of the cloud data has deteriorated, partly so you don't see cloud patterns like you did before, and then it feels like some weather layer has been pasted in so it's not animated.

Hi, I’m trying to activate the Storms and Heavy Rain alerts, but the switches are still greyed out after I changed the Location permission to Always, and enabled notification. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and I also rebooted my phone, but the issue still persists. Thanks for looking into it. Version 48.1.2 iOS 26.2.1 [image: 1770458511810-img_2370.png]

@gechterling Concerning your second point, like so many users you don’t say whether you are using the browser version or the mobile app. So I imagine you are using the browser version. You can click on this button to switch to the second week of the forecast. [image: 1770452365875-a1a08ffd-6e05-431a-9eae-986ab106f270.jpeg]

Hello, I am also a frequent Home Assistant user and would like to see a Windy integration so I can continue using automations that were previously triggered by data from the AccuWeather API, which unfortunately is no longer free. This is a topic with high demand; with a simple web search we can find, as in this Reddit example, many people looking for alternative solutions. I have previously had a Windy Premium subscription and would subscribe again if you were to develop a Home Assistant integration. Thanks
