@nmoc-weather said in Adapt airport color with convective weather: Hi all, thanks to Windy for providing this nice service! I have a request for the colored airport dots (VFR). I have seen that airports with good visibility and cloud base but present weather SHRA or TSRA and TCU/CB appear green. Although EASA SERA 5001 and 5005 do not prohibit VFR rules in the presence of convective weather as long as the VMC are maintained, I would expect that it should be highlighted to increase awareness and safety. I have not seen yellow color yet - maybe the presence of TCU, CB, SH (+other suffix), TS (+other suffix) in the last METAR or similar report can be added to highlight this weather? Thanks and best regards! Reply Thank you for your very on-point suggestion. I have opened the discussion in our team and we will see how we can enhance it for our community in the future. Have a nice day, Niki

You can select Icing severity from the list. Only ECMWF and GFS forecasts are available.Available from 2000' to FL300. You can select the current time for "instant" but is still based on the last run of the NWP. [image: 1706389374036-icing-forcast.png]

@rvantwisk I guess you use a tablet. Now the tablet app has been merged with the phone app. The screen of this type of device is to small for the side menu and the map to be displayed at same time.

@pedro-vaiz This is a problem of duplicate airport (airport has two ids), try to contact "Ourairports" management by sending an error report about this airport as Windy use their database and has no control over it.

@lucapenta Hi, glad to hear you enjoy METAR notifications. We may add TAF or NOTAM notifications in the future, if we decide it a priority.

This would be super handy. There are literally no good metar/taf widgets out there, and if anyone can get it right, windy can.

In the mean time, there may be some citizen owned or public webcams available in your area. I just checked the Anchorage forecast, scrolled to the right and found a number of web cams like: [image: 1502479066365-screenshot-2017-08-11-12.15.06.png] Choose the Forecasted Weather button in the lower right corner. [image: 1502479171823-choose-forcasted-weather.png] Go to your area and click on one of the small blue boxes. The forecast will display and if you scroll to the right, there may be some webcams available. Enjoy, James.
