Hello, as paying user, I would also welcome to have my selected forecast model remembered at all. No to switch to different one each time I open windy web page or iOS app! Thank you in advance for making this happen.

@hulakai May I ask which device do you use?

@wkool In Settings -> Start-up location and layer -> Start-up layer -> Use last overlay. Then you need to leave the app using your preferred model.

@mentawaiwindy Hello, the selected model stays saved until you choose a different one outside of the settings. Closing or opening the app should have no effect on it.

@WildOrangutan +1 Other weather apps have a more practical design - allowing the user to preselect their preferred weather model - which is then the source for both app and widget. Windy, sadly, uses ECMWF as the default which then, unless ECMWF is your preferred model, has to be changed every time the user opens the app and renders the widget useless.
