@US-5 Hi, do you use our mobile app? You are right that this can be a pretty confusing, however, we offer button for the forecast step, that you want. So when 1h is active, 3h button is offered.

@Brandon-Beale Hello, you can view the weather forecast for your location on your phone, complete with radar, satellite, or radar+ layers, all on one screen. Just long-tap the Home (house) button while the radar layer is active and adjust the zoom as needed.

Click on the Home button, which will display your favourite locations that you have saved before, and choose the one you need.

Desktop is similar without the home button - in that case you need to pin your favourite location which you will see once you open Windy.com app.

What would be ideal would be to see the surface weather with the jet stream superimposed so the relationship between the two can me seen. In other words, the jet stream should be a separate layer because it exerts such a major influence.

@Baruk-Findus the only rain forecast was yesterday and still is for coming Thursday. The rain and storm we had was almost tropical

@idefix37 The gpx files I'm using came from the Supercycle bike computer app and contain my exact coordinates updated every second for the duration of the ride (2-3 hours). That's why there are so many waypoints.

I just manually created a route in Windy that matches one of my gpx files. I had to use 15 points to get all the turns but it's 44 miles and should be nearly identical to the gpx from my bike computer app.

Unfortunately, scrolling thru the timeline one hour at a time, the data/graph section only updates when it feels like it. That ends up being roughly every other or every third hour. Sometimes it updates every hour for like two or three hours in a row and then I start getting suspicious. "It's working now... something must be wrong."

I need it to work all the time.

@SmallGnome Hi, thank you for your suggestion, we will consider this with colleagues, however, there are no plans to implement anything similar right now.

@Libby-Meyer We don't provide any future data for radar layer, since it is not possible to provide any reliable data for this tool. Also majority of other services usually provides forecast for an hour from now, and also that is a kind of modeling of possible situation. 10-days forecast is for other layers, for instance, Windy, Temperature, Rain, etc.

@Zvingi we provide data from various models (ECMWF, ICON, GFS,...) and they have their own metrics how to get these data. Also, we still talk about the forecast and not the real-time weather, so it could be different.
