@michele7 Hello, thank you for your suggestions. Overall, we are evaluating several local models, and we may add more in the future. For now, there is no plan for release. We will keep you informed. Have a nice day, Niki
@logindata
This is normal behavior with radar and satellite. If you previously selected another weather model, it reverts to ECMWF. So when exiting the app, you should for example leave with the wind layer and your preferred model on the screen.
I admit that this setting is just an imperfect workaround.
@lou6977 Hello, as mentioned above, the MBLUE model has issues and does not work for certain parts of the day. More info at https://community.windy.com/topic/21609/meteoblue-temporarily-unavailable
@andrey-1v We definitely want to add more weather alerts to the layer, but this happens over time, not immediately as we have other projects we work on. Furthermore, Extreme forecast layer is forecast for the whole world, its purpose is to show you the "worst" weather patterns that may occur.
I would recommend to use it if Weather warnings are not enough for you.
Hey,
I think, it's a very nice feature. For me, the ICON-EU will the best one for my area. And I want to see this forecast dates in the widget.
Kind regards

@ivo how about models that are already listed under "Compare" function?
In my instance NAM is more accurate than ECMWF and it would be greatly appreciated if I could set it as startup model on a browser, app and widgets rather than having to manually chose it each time.
Another little suggestion would be to add a setting option where one could choose to restart on last used map scale rather than having to manually zoom in each time on startup.
Thank You in advance
@jphart03
Today in CEST time zone (UTC + 2) I had the 12 UTC update at 19:43 UTC
So 48 minutes after ECMWF dissemination.

I don’t know what the 07:15 update after ref. time means, when the real update is 07:48 after ref.time.
@Andrea-Perron – Yes I didn't cover ensembles in this article, but actually that might be a nice idea to cover in my next one. Thanks @Gkikas-LGPZ for that nice diagram.
And special thanks to Ed Lorenz for being awesome and discovering Chaos theory :)
