@Ivaneck We use Google services in our app, so this is necessary to get this working.

@seaski69 I agree, it would be useful to be able to change in Settings the format of the coordinates displayed for a location. In the mobile app, coordinates are displayed in DD (degree decimal) [image: 1727603234384-c5067779-2a27-47aa-a1b8-b53075385d6b.jpeg] While in the browser version it is in DMS (degree, minute, second) [image: 1727603351493-e6362244-4bd8-49e0-827d-f075371ef814.jpeg]

@mfk1955 You are correct, but I was not sure if I understand the issue from the first message and we are aware of certain issue similar to this one and I wanted to see if we talk about the same one. Now I know that you mean something else and unfortunately, we are not able to replicate this one with the same SW versions. Did you try to reinstall Windy on your device?

@Suty sorry, but adding a calibrate button that offsets whatever value the device is returning by the module of this angle plus the set offset doesn't seem to be too difficult, and fixes this annoyance of the users rotting the cellphone to figure out if the storm is coming from behind you or from somewhere else in an unfamiliar region when you are travelling. Just adding my 2 cents. Cheers.

@dcyukon Hello, did you allow Windy to use your GPS location? If you are on Android, I recommend to turn on the "precise location" option too. You also need to have GPS as default option in the app's settings.

@ahlston Hi, do you have GPS as your default location in the app settings? You also need to allow Windy to use your location if you didn't do so yet. Please also make sure to update Windy, we released an update, that contains bug fixes regarding the location issue.

@MVRedHead If you wanted to update your location, you could try closing the app then opening it again to reload your location. And currently, we can do nothing in terms of GPS location accuracy. I would recommend using high accuracy mode for locations if you're using Android. Also, currently there is no way for Windy to add a predictive radar feature to the service. It would be way to complicated.
