Hey Mate, you seem to be a specialist of hurricane models, but you can’t identify the models used by Windy !
In the Hurricane tracker, Windy shows the official track (OFCL) computed by the NOAA.

In addition the track predicted by the ECMWF model is also available:

ECMWF model is the default model of Windy… what you call "your algorithm".
Is it a bad model for tracking hurricanes? No, it is one of the best as this article tends to show.

AVNO/AVNI is GFS. It is also available in Windy. You can select it if you prefer.
