@Suty sorry, but adding a calibrate button that offsets whatever value the device is returning by the module of this angle plus the set offset doesn't seem to be too difficult, and fixes this annoyance of the users rotting the cellphone to figure out if the storm is coming from behind you or from somewhere else in an unfamiliar region when you are travelling. Just adding my 2 cents. Cheers.

@Ondřej-Šutera thank you, this Information is well known. But some weather data provider offer more and Windguru, Ventusky and others reflect it. I like the gui of windy very much, but if it is not state-of-the-art, I cannot use it seriously.

Yes, that is what I meant. The map works when zoomed out but switches to ICON global when zoomed in and on the point forecast.

Since iOS 18 will be implementing dark and tinted icons, you should also consider implementing a monochromatic icon for Android.
