Hey jdc007,
I totally get what you mean — those small fonts in the Windy app can be really hard on the eyes, especially when you’re checking the detailed wind data. Unfortunately, Windy itself doesn’t have a dedicated setting to increase the font size for the “Wind data” panel specifically. It mostly relies on your device’s display settings.
What has worked for me on Android is using the system-wide font size and display scaling options:
Go to Settings → Display → Font size and increase it. Some phones also have a Display size / Screen zoom option — this makes everything on your screen slightly bigger, including apps like Windy. It’s not perfect, because it scales the entire interface, but it does make that lower panel a lot easier to read. Another tip: if you just need to see the numbers clearly, try rotating your phone to landscape mode — sometimes the panel layout changes slightly and makes the fonts appear bigger.
On a side note, I’ve also used third-party apps that overlay text magnification on your screen, which can help if you just want certain sections zoomed without changing the whole display. It’s a bit of a workaround, but it can save your eyes on those detailed readings.
