Regarding the temperatures in the cloud layer, this refers to the brightness temperature of the cloud tops as measured by the satellite's sensors. @Ondřej-Šutera I can only look at a certain number of days on the widget, and inside the app I have to search for the lowest morning temperature individually each day, which is nonsene... when you could simply put the lowest daily temperature individually for each day, instead of searching trough day hours for lowest temperature .

@hotspot-cl Hi, it is well known that global models with their resolution from 10 to 20 km are not good at predicting temperature in mountains. Unfortunately in Chile Windy cannot show high resolution models like those we have in Europe or in USA. Have you tried METEOBLUE in the point forecast panel? This Swiss model is quite good in mountains as it makes for each location a correction with the real altitude.

@gukel Hi, In Windy the Extreme weather layer is expressed as % because it directly comes from the Extreme Forecast Index (EFI) from ECMWF. @idefix37 Thank you for the reply. I just thought, because I did not choose a time in the future, but a time a bit in the past, that the model temperature forecasts are adjusted to the observed temperatures in the neighborhood. Obviously that's not the case. Have a nice day.

You can combine already precipitation, Rain layer, with animated wind particles which give the wind direction. It already shows frontal boundaries.
