      • Update: At 12:00 a.m. UTC the center of Typhoon Kammuri (29W, or Tisoy in PAR) was located near 13.1N, 122.4E, approximately 121 NM southeast of Manila, Philippines, moving 270 degrees at 10 knots in the past 6 hours, with max. sustained winds of 100 kt and gusts of 125 kt (The JTWC Warning #30). Kammuri is forecast to gradually turn west-northwestward to northwestward and to weaken as it tracks over the central Philippines due to increased frictional effects. However, the system should maintain typhoon strength due to its track over the warm waters of the inland seas, before it'll encounter strong, cold northeasterly surge flow, expected to weaken rapidly to 25 knots.

Typhoon Kammuri, known in the Philippines as Typhoon Tisoy, was a powerful typhoon which impacted the Philippines in early December 2019. ... Through December 5 and 6, Kammuri weakened significantly and its low-level circulation center became exposed; as a result, it dissipated on December 6.
