iPhone widget not updating location

When viewing the widget on my iPhone, it always shows the last location that I was looking at while in the full app. I have the app set for ‘current location’ when I open it, but the widget doesn’t follow that setting. I have to open the app and get my current location, then the widget will show my current/correct location.

Hi @twebb101,

the update of current location is not dependent on using app, widget asks for location of the phone itself, if widget does not get it within a reasonable time, it either uses older location data or location in the app. So the problem might also be with internet connection or directly in the iPhone settings for Windy.
