<![CDATA[Removing download app banner]]>Does anyone know if it's possible to remove the "download app" banner when viewing windy through a mobile browser?

I have the app but I find the website to be more fluid, especially when opening up "more layers" it transitions without laggy animations.

I work remotely and the active fire database and live lightning strikes are useful to me, which the app doesn't support as of yet.

Does anyone recommend the app over the browser and why?

it is not possible to remove 'download app' banner while you are using Windy in browser.

App itself has usually the same functionality as the web browser version. For instance your custom Settings and saved Favorites can be accessed on both platforms. However some features are available for browser only at first, later they are also implemented to app.
