Route planner is only available with ECMWF model. No way to select an other one.

          Hi,
Can we add stop over or can we only do it in several routes?

            Hi,
There is no possibility to include stop over in a Route. You need to do several routes

Is there any plan to implement a IFR route planner for paragliders, microlights, powered paragliders, gliders, powered parachutes etc.?

The tool looks incredibly powerful but unfortunately the airgrams are not of any use as our altitude ranges in flatlands are relatively low and there's no granularity.

It would be amazing to have something just like the IFR tool but topping out at about 6000 ft (or lower as an option) rather than 44,000 ft!

At the moment, only the bottom two would be of any use to me and it isn't worth me subscribing to Premium for this feature.

Why don’t you use the VFR for paragliding option instead of IFR ??

@idefix37 sorry brain freeze. I meant VFR in all instances above. I can't edit the post. My points still apply.

The VFR option is topping at 9000ft not 44000ft in the Route planner.

Thank you, you're right. Is there any plan to have it work with multiple weather models?

@pavelneuman The VFR flight planning tool is amazingly helpful! I only wish it displayed clouds and winds up to FL140 or FL180. The current top of FL100 doesn't clear some of the moutnains in the western part of the US, and the IFR view doesn't show the type of information that is most helpful for light aircraft.

                          Re: Route Planning for Boating

                          1. Is it possible to have wave periods show? Wave height alone does not provide the whole story.

                          2. When I create a route, I am unable to move the start (departure date). All demos and instructions show the start and end duration, which you can slide foward and back to analyze for the best departure. I only see the start but advancing it does not adjust for the created route.

                            1. At sea, waves period should much more useful than the temperature.

                            2. In the mobile app, scroll the timeline.
In the web version scroll the “Start” label

                              @idefix37 Hello.

How can monitor the route and adjust my present position as reference.
For example on a route of 10 days, on the day 4 I am on route on different position, and want to start simulation from that position, from that time.

                              Thank you.

                                Hi,
To update a route, the best thing is to plot a new route in place of the old one, starting from your updated position. This is the way traditionally used in dead reckoning navigation : starting from a new position, you plot a new route.
Or you can add a new waypoint by clicking on the route and then grab it to your current position if you want to keep your route.
