Is there any way to add a scale bar? I use windy looking at weather offshore and would be nice to be able to measure distances.

To measure distances, just use the Distance&planning tool. Click on the RH button of your mouse or make a long press on screen in case you use the App.

@idefix37 Awesome, thanks! I've been wondering about this for some time now. As a pilot, it is great to know how quickly a system is moving. However, is it possible to play the animation while this measuring tool is still active? This way I can really calculate and track the movement of said system.

Distance & planning tool is much more than a scale bar.
As a pilot, you'll find it very usefull especially after the new release
with a speed option
