Widget UI problem when there's a connection error

When no current data can be downloaded, the error message in the widget just stays there and you can't see the weather data that was downloaded before and which is still very up-to-date.
It would be nice if the error message disappeared after a few seconds and maybe there's an error icon in the corner instead. The current error message makes the widget completely useless when there's no connectivity in the area.
