Editing webcams and adding a new one not successful

Hi!

I have been trying to edit a webcam that is incorrect and to add a new one, but nothing happens. I have used Modify webcam and Add a new webcam and filled in the forms, but nothing seems to happen. Waited for several days. Why is that?

Hello, new webcams and suggestions for change are checked manually, so it can take some time until the changes are projected on Windy.com. Could you please tell me the ID/name of the webcam you tried to add/change?

I have tried to change this webcam: https://www.windy.com/fi/-Webkamerat/Suomi/Etelä-Suomi/Parainen/Nauvo-›-North-East:-Nauvon-vierassatama/webcams/1215934205?60.190,21.796,12. It is in wrong position and duplicate of this one (which is correct): https://www.windy.com/fi/-Webkamerat/Suomi/Etelä-Suomi/Parainen/Nauvo-Varsinais-Suomen-maakunta/webcams/1572361896?60.190,21.796,12.

Instead of the first one, there is a weather webcam at the same location. The page where the cam is shown is this: https://rosti.fi/saa/saakamera/?lang=en.

Hello, thank you for letting me know. I have merged these 2 webcams together, so there should be only one with the correct position.

Ok, merging did the trick and that remaining cam is now correct. Great! Now the new one is missing, but should I just try to add it again?

@Korina Hello, sorry for disturbing this post, but I have the same issue. Could you please look at my Webcam https://on.windy.com/3bt3m and change the details:
-altitude to 523 meters
-remove "Kostel sv. Jakuba Staršího" from the locations and also from webcam name (so that the name would be "Štoky › Jih: Městys Štoky")

I tried editing the webcam myself (it's my webcam), it said sent for review but it didn't change even after few days.

Hello, the title of your webcam is determined by the position, so it's not possible to change it the name you mentioned if it is not the exact location.
You can still try to change the position and see if you will get the name right.
