2019 was a very successful year for us. Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to collect an incredible amount of around 450.000,- EUR/USD from our contributors. Your actions helped us tremendously to keep Windy fast, and free of any advertisements or tracking cookies. Meanwhile we have been working very hard on bringing you bunch of new features in 2020. And here we are again.
To reach a sustainable income, we are introducing Windy Premium. One hour detailed forecast, just for price of a better lunch (approx 19.99 USD/EUR) for a whole year.
But not only that. In case we will decide to put advertising on website or cut down on our infrastructure costs, Windy Premium subscribers will have guarantee, that Windy stays as it is: Served from 44 locations worldwide, fast as hell, and no ads and or tracking cookies.
One hour forecast is available for all major models we provide (including ECMWF).
Subscription will be available across all three platforms iOS, Android and Desktop with a monthly or annual option. Purchased premium subscription can be managed on each of these platforms, depending where your order was made.
Please note, the current features stay without any change and are still available for non premium users, that also includes standard 3 hour forecast and updates 2 times a day.

Question about the period covered by Windy for weather forecast models.
E.g. GFS 0.25° is provided by NCEP/NOOA with validities [f000..f384] over next 16 days from runtime; Windy time bar only extends over next 10 days (i.e. up to f240).
Does Windy plan offering also the remaining 6 days forecasts for GFS model? I was only able to find this old related post which says: "Windy v 19.7.0 brings some sweet innovations: [...] Detail forecast (now 6 days) can be extended to 10 days" -
Widze że nie wszystkie modele w wersji premium mają prawidłową wizualizacje danych np. model NEMES nie są co godzinę tylko co 3 ?

Here above, presenting Windy Premium, Ivo said that one hour forecast is available for all major models we provide (including ECMWF). So NEMS is not considered as a major model.

@Korina the same question for me, and i tried several times and I only want to buy one year. Now I recieved several emails from paypal witout any from windy or FastSpring.

I have received email vis paypal, like:"You authoried a payment of 18,99 EUR to FastSpring Bv. Money won't leave your account unitil FastSpring BV processes your order......"
Do I pay it right?
And do I need to wait for the company process my order?
By the way, till now i have not receive any email from wind or FastSpring BV. I really don't know how to deal with this situation. -

This is great app for all to use. Have followed weather for close to just under 70 yrs and use the app to determine the weather for bowls and is very, very accurate.
