To start you need to go to Cumulus Admin interface, then:

Navigate to Settings | Internet settings

Scroll down to the Windy.com entry and click the arrow to expand it.

Tick Enabled, optionally select Include UV, at this moment will be not displayed on web, but will be saved.

The Catch up option sends historic data for any gap if Cumulus is shut down and restarted. This is only applicable if you have a station with a data logger.

Set the Station ID, for most people with one station this will be the default value of zero.

Enter the API key, be careful to include it whole.

Set the upload Interval, this has a minimum value of 5 minutes.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save.

are there any issues with this or is it still working?
I've setup my cumulus and wanted to upload to windy but I always get a bad request error like:

My station is dm5ptVB.

I created an API key and on cumulus I'm using 0 in Station Index and the API key created on Windy. Although I'm confused with this stated on the API keys page:

An API key cannot be used to update observations for your station. You need a station password for that.

Problem solved
Your SSL certificate (Let's Encrypt R3 intermediate CA ) expired on 30 sep 2021 but the raspberry pi running cumulusmx still use it, so the solution was to disable the ca-certificate.

sudo apt install -y ca-certificates
sudo sed -i '/^mozilla\/DST_Root_CA_X3.crt$/ s/^/!/' /etc/ca-certificates.conf
sudo update-ca-certificates

I think I've resolved the issue.
The Time wasn't set correctly, I've synced this with an NTP Time Source and that seems to have resolved the issue now.
