Wind speed scale

Hi, I appreciate a lot the good effort building this site, but it would be very nice if the wind speed scale could go in steps of 5 instead to 10. That way we can difference between 10 to 15 knots and from 15 to 20 knots, and to apply a different color tonality, specially if you are sailing and your sailboat is struggling up to 15 knots. Then you can avoid those areas. Thank you very much for your comprehension.

You can customize the color scale of wind as you like. Personally I have calibrated it according to the Beaufort scale:

I have considered a 40ft cruising sailboat and used orange for 22-27 kt (6Bft) then red from 28 kt ( from 7 Bft). But for a lighter craft you can use these colors from 15 kt.For shaping a color scale with 5 kt steps, here is the way to do your own calibration:
