It was just an example to show that Windy display reported temperature i.e. the observed temperature at weather station.
Yesterday 40°C was the maximum temperature observed at Karachi airport weather station as shown here:

Of course the forecast temperature for the same hour is not precisely the same. Even the best global weather models are not able to take into account the urban heat island effect in large cities:

Anyway, "best probable" local weather is generally not extracted from models, but provided by professional forecasters (who take models into account among other info) with local knowledge.
