Prediction accurancy indicator - wind direction bug
-
Dear support,
I have found a little bug in wind direction prediction accurancy indicator.
When predicted and measured direction differs at 3 degree, it should still be green.
I think there is a mistake where Windy assumes 358 - 1 = 357 and not a shorter path.

@damien66
You are surely right, as shown by another example:0° is exactly the same as 360°, but it is considered here as a bad matching between reported and forecast wind direction. There are not 360° between these 2 values and the indicator should be bright green ! :-)

@Korina Please check and a note for the developers if necessary, thank you :)

Maybe it should be also taken into account that anemometer wind direction values for WMO/ICAO stations in METAR/SYNOP/TEMP messages are rounded to 10° (i.e. 0°, 10°, 20°, ...340°, 350°), while models and AWS stations provide values rounded at 1°.
