There used to be a slider bar that you could select the altitude with. This has been gone for awhile and I can't seem to find a way to find a forecast for different altitudes. I know I can select different altitudes and it will show me the wind animations and give me the wind at that location but how do I choose what altitude the forecast is at. I want to see the winds and gusts listed as there are when you just click on a location.

The altitude slider as not been gone !!
It is still in the right side of your desktop screen.

Or in the right menu of the mobile app.

But note that gusts are shown only at surface, not in altitude.

Altitude are expressed by pressure: 850h = 850 hPa ~1500m

Height slider works with "wind" not "wind gusts".

Even without gusts how can I see what for the winds are going to be at altitude. For example if I select 3k feet how can I see what the wimds are going to be like tommorow?
