      @reagandisco Hello, we are thinking about adding this option in the future, thank you for your feedback.

        @korina Not a Premium user but I have been a user since the ‘early days’ and have asked for this before. I concur that the other models are better depending on location and in general, I’m afraid (I’m a European too!), the GFS model, though less precise, is more accurate.The other ‘setting’ which does not appear to be a setting are the pressure isolines, which revert to ‘off’ every time I leave the website, a real pain. But keep up the good work, I love Windy!

          If you find GFS more accurate, which is not what people are generally thinking, you can bookmark

            Hello. Still can't set a default forecast model. Is this feature coming? ACCESS just got added and is so accurate, but I have to always remember to switch to it.

              @danbuccheri
              In Start up layer, try Use last overlay. It should work to get ACCESS as default model

                @kaipeterg I completely agree and I feel like it would be so nice if, at the very least, our preferred weather model would save!!

                  @verebat Hello, you can save your preferred model by going to Settings -> Start-up layer -> Choose last overlay. This will save the current selected layer as your default.

                    I just discovered this app and really like it. But the default forecast model is off by 7 C in my region , northern Italy. The Meteoblue is much more accurate here. But without being able to change the default forecast, this app is not usable here.

                      @mike-jetter Hello, as mentioned above, you can save your preferred model by going to Settings -> Start-up layer -> Choose last overlay. This will save the current selected layer as your default. However Meteoblue is only available for the detailed forecast. This model cannot be saved.

                        On my Android App I cannot find this default layer setting. Is this really a part in the settings section?
